Kajeet: Great Use of Character Design!

I don't know how many of you are like me out there that truly get excited when you see great use of character design, and it doesn't matter where you find them.  Many times they aren't even in the feature length cartoons today, but in simple, short advertisements either on TV or on the web.  Kajeet is one of those concepts that fits that category for me.  I just saw the commercial today.  Now I'm not one to go to every website I see advertised on TV, but just the few that really either have a product  I need or are inspiring to me in some way.  Kajeet inspires me in the sense that this is how I'd like to see some of my characters used someday.  

Its a pay-as-you-go cell phone company - geared toward the younger crowd.  First thing that hit me was how the design of the is so Hip with today's urban culture.  Part Graffiti, part cartoon, skate.. its got it.  They really have squashed done a great job of hitting the different social groups on their site.  They do it with their section called Kajeet Dudes.  Several different characters all with their own animation, story and personalities.  Each one fits a different group.  One is a skater, one's a rocker, There's an outdoorsie Girl character and a few others. 

I simply love the animations, the characters and the whole concept.  Which is why they deserved this long plug on my vox!  :D
