Paper and badges an interesting combination..

The badger, a combination paper/badge toy by Sjors Trimbach is an interesting approach to design and to toys, I might say.  Of course its not unusual to find new and innovative things in the area of designer toys nowadays. There are so many young star designers out there coming up with hot new items every week.. I never run out of material for my blog and just simply to talk about.  Sjors is the creator of another well-known paper toy called Brick-boy.  If you haven't seen it, check it out on Sjor's main page or just click here ;-)  Brickboy. 

The Badger is interesting as it is a toy the combines the use of a standing paper toy along with a badge that hangs on it where the head should be.  The designers create the badge design along with the paper cutout to compliment each other making a whole design.  Its interesting and I really like what the designers have come up with.
