The idea of toys made out of paper/cardboard just goes along with everything else in the designer toy movement (can’t really say vinyl..lol), where everyone is trying to do something not just unique but extraordinary. I’ve seen a few of the paper toys today and not all of them have caught my eye like Shin Tanaka’s. I found Spiky baby a while back actually but for some reason in my mind thought it would never catch on or it was just a temporary thing. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong about it being temporary!

With his latest lines of paper toys, Spiky Baby (series 5), Mask Hoodie (series 1) and T-Boy Hoodie, Shin shows that he’s ready to keep pumping these hot designs out for awhile! There’s also templates for you to customize your own T-Boys Hoodies, Mask Hoodies and Spiky Babies! Awesome!
