Ever wanted to design an object of desire? Wanted to hold YOUR idea in your hand? VC is launching an Art Toy design competition..

CALENDAR: Competition official launch - October 1st Submissions start - October 10th Submission and registration deadline - October 31st Finalists revealed to voting by general public - November 15 Results revealed - December 8

THEME: No theme: express yourself or make a statement. No limit on cuteness, sinicism, political motives or feel good. The only restsiction: The toy should not be larger than 4"x4"x4" (10cmx10cmx10cm)

PROCESS: The competition consists of 2 stages. First, following the deadline the jury will delibirate and vote on all the entries; top ranked 10%, up to a maximum of 100, of all the entries will make it to the official website, where the voting for the top 3 will be handed over to the general public. Voting will be open for 2 weeks, after which the results will be tallied and winners announced. For fairness, no names will be revealed to the jurors.

I would love to enter this and I probably have ideas for it, but heck there are so many competitions out there and so little time!  Along with working full time, I'm trying to get my website up.. maybe if I get a free day or two.  Anyway for all of you guys that have the time, go to it!
