This is Bid 'Ed Bunny.  Why the name?  Because he has a darned Big 'Ed! (head) He has a grumpy attitude for the same reason too.  Everyone seems to call him Big 'Ed when he knows its not because they think his name is Ed cus he's not a big bunny at all.  In fact most of the rest of his features seem to belong on a runt but anyway that's another subject he'd rather not discuss or I might be " Ed-butted".... BWAHAHA!  

Ok update.  I've been working more on this character.  Here are the updates.  Hope you like em!

Side note:  Fashions are taken from real life but obviously not mainstream.  Or I should say "inspired by"  The skirts and/or shorts with the wild looking lower pant flaring pant legs exist.   Just look up Visual Kei Punk, Gothic or Punk fashion.  The Skirts, obviously very Japanese.  Started with inspirations from Gothic Lolita styles and well.. you see where its going.  Crossing belts:  mine.  Synth dreads are real too but these aren't a great copy of them.  If you can imagine that these are tubes wrapping her hair with ribbons dispersed throughout.

I just thought it would be funny to post this for all of you people (if there are any left since I've been quite absent lately) that follow my blog..  As you know many many months ago I posted Skullboy the image below.  If memory serves, I also had posted sketches of the progress shots and everything, and considering it is very similar to all of my other design work, I believe (tell me if I'm wrong) that it really reflects my own personal style.  In no way, do I think it is a ripoff of anyone's style, at least, I hope not... In any case, the design is 100% s4ndm4n's and I was amazed and shocked to get the following comment on the image..

you ---------- robbing bastard that sketch was done by me not you.

you jumped up little ---- so that it of istockphoto NOW !!!!!!!!!

and never copy one of my sketches again is that clear you little ---- up

I found it humorous to see someone trying to lay claim to one of my own designs and frankly I'm flattered that someone would find it valuable enough to pull that kind of crap.. lol  Why? Because if it wasn't a decent design in the first place no one would care right?  Well cool.  Since I know that I truly did the work, well umm, that can't be taken  not matter how many times someone cries "Thief" about my own work.  :)  Just for the record, these are the images straight from my hard drive including the original SCANNED sketch.  Enjoy the humor guys..

Another design I put up on redbubble for your wearing pleasure.. :D  Grafboy is one of the most popular of my designs on istockphoto, so I did a variation on him with an added grungy, painted splattered background behind him and offer him on various colored shirts.. buy via redbubble

Ok guys  I think I'm going to try to post all of the entries that we receive on VTF for our biweekly contest.. unless we get tons (which I hope) then it'll be as many as I can..hehe.. Anyway.. here's the first:

Rufus J. Cirrus

He's a big orange cat who lives in an abandoned cliff dwelling.  He's been in the high desert ever since he was orphaned as a kitten, taught how to survive by his aged friend and mentor, the Right Honorable Rev. Chompington, a Gila Monster (Rufus calls him R.C., even though technically that works for both of them).  Rufus walks on his hind legs because no one told him he wasn't supposed to.  He and R.C. live together, R.C. sunning himself on the window ledges, and Rufus curled up in the shade.  It's not the best place for a longhair cat, but the Reverend knows where all the hidden springs and streams are.  R.C. doesn't really have a congregation, so he and Rufus have long philosophical discussions together.  Sometimes, Rufus will go out when the sun is down and scavenge the bits and pieces that the wind blows in (that's how he found his battered top hat).  Some of it, he uses to decorate the house, the rest goes toward perfecting his backpack glider.  That's the other reason Rufus likes the strong updrafts in the cliffs.  He's a bit natty-looking these days from past mishaps, but these days the wings work fine - it's more a matter of refinement now.  One of these days, he maintains, those desert birds are going to be in for a surprise!  Then they'll eat like kings.  R.C. listens patiently and gets the salve and bandages.

Ok its been forever since I've put anything up on Illustration Friday, so when I got this week's subject, "Hats" I had to dig through my image files to find good ol' Graff Boy to put up there.  He doesn't get enough exposure anymore. :(  And he's one of my favorites. :D
