Finally for the first time, Erick Scarecrow will make his first appearance at the San Diego Comic Con 2008  and will be unveiling at Toy Tokyo (booth# 5237) the Kissaki "Sandstorm" colorway vinyl figure limited to 300pcs. with retail at $69.99.

 

Erick Scarecrow's signing schedule for Toy Tokyo (booth# 5237) will only be on Friday 07/25/08 10am-1pm & Saturday 07/26/08 10am-1pm. All goods will be sold on a first come and first serve basis. No exceptions.

Just came across this post on the Vinyl Toy Freaks forum.  Not a brand new post, but still very much worth posting now, and hopefully it's new to some of you just like it was for me. :)

Artoyz will be releasing Bunka's Chaos Monkey come September, according to our friendly toy addict, Jimmy Foo in his post: 

....this is Bunka's first original vinyl toy and is due in September from Artoyz originals, it stands around 14cm (5-6"). I love the Tiki styling of this....here's hoping there's gonna be some blanks available cos i kinda like the look of this as it is....colour protos will be revealed at the Bread and Butter trade show in Barcelona around July 2nd - 4th.

Now I agree with Jimmy's opinion, this is a very cool "tiki-like" design and I can't wait to see too, whether it is available as a blank diy version too.. :)  Love the long arms and the stubby little body but I just can't get over the huge eye sockets!! so cool.. so much you could do with this as a canvas!  Below you'll see a rendering of the toy in color too but still I hope a blank will be available.

Yeti Guy/Girl is so cool!  IMO... I would love to have one of these dudes myself.  I'll have to decide on a color first.. and that might take a while..haha.. in the meantime, here's a pic of the the hot (pink) yeti girl's behind.. ;)

Miller over at Patch Together has given me some wonderful news, their first prototype, Timmy Toxic Slimeball, is now available for preorder on their site.  Keep youre eyes peeled for an interview to give you more insight into Patch Together, what they're all about and perhaps what spawned the idea of Timmy!!   In the meantime check out this brief description, image and then follow the link to get your preorders in!!!  They will only be made numbered 300 for each colorway so get to it!

I just came across this recent post by Andy over at Toys R Evil.  Erick is up to all kinds of good it seems, with the new Chelly Chainsaw figure coming as soon as SDCC!  Not that far of!  You may have seen the Chelly design in one of my early interviews with Erick:

Anyway, this is a hot design and I think as typical of Erick's stuff, it won't last long on shelves or wherever it is sold!

A bomb has been dropped.  Right in the middle of my virtual desktop, no less.  By whom? Our friend and fast-becoming Toy "God", (IMO)... Erick Scarecrow.  :D  Mousey Micci Rocks, mind you, in any form that could be thought up by the master mind of ESC Toys, but gosh darn it... a vinyl version kills me!

As I promised here's the first sneak of the Old Skool Kaiju fig at VTF.

OMG(osh)  I just can't hold it in,  am just very excited to see this!  I can't wait to see more views of it!  Looks like it'll have the "Erick Scarecrow touch", sneakers and all.. very cool indeed (as in like the Liberty figure's sneakers) but then I could be wrong..   just what I get from this sneak peek so far.  Start saving your pennies little toy addicts!  They won't last, i  guarantee!
