Ok just FYI I just put my munny up for sale on Big Cartel for $120. This design style also has a name finally too. I call him Mr. Crumble. :D This first one is just a start. Its a hand painted design, and I'm very happy with the results I got with sharpie poster paint pens, Montana Gold spray paints.
Latest entry in the ever-growing list of awesome customs that never cease to amaze me.. from PHU! This one is called Voltz, based on a Possessed figure from Luke Chueh. Personally not for the blood and gore most of the time, so this metal version of this toy rawks IMHO.

After a brief break over the festive period, COTW is back with an absolute doozer….
Done as part of Octane3’s Secret Santa, Monstafaktory’s Anna has gone all out and IMO, produced one of her best customs to date.
Meet Darth Vader Teddy Troop!!
A wicked little re-work of the Infamous Dark Lord, complete with a top notch paint job, & working Light saber, this really is a sweet custom.
The Cape very cleverly hides the wiring for the Light saber, and the stand is actually the battery/power supply….what more could you ask for!!!!
If your not familiar with Anna or Monstafaktory, then get yer bums over to her site and check out her work….you wont be disappointed!!
Roll on 2008 I say

Artist Name: Bil Betsovic
Artist Location: Las Vegas, NV USA
Toy Name: DOBHAR CHU
Toy Type: 8″ Dunny
Toy Story:This is Dobhar-chu the water hound,he looks nice but is not..those chompers
are VERY deadly although he is on a full stomach right now and thats why the lil dunnys are still alive,he stores them in his mouth like a chipmunk…he WILL eat em later! he also has a lil suckerfish on his bum!!! and there is a gold shimmer to all his scales camera didnt pic it up too good :0( heres a lil history on the dobhar-chu…Few are as frightening as the Dobhar-Chu. Known to locals as the Irish crocodile, the Dobhar-Chu’s name, when roughly translated from Gaelic, literally means “water hound.” Known for its voracious appetite - with a particular taste for dunny flesh -
the Dobhar-Chu is said to be able to travel at incredible speeds, in or out of the water.Described as being “half-wolfdog and half-fish”. Reports of the Dobhar-Chu (also referred to as Dhuragoo, Dorraghowor or Dobarcu) date back to at least 1684. While numerous eyewitness accounts concur a fish-like canine, other observers claim that
the creature is more otter-like in appearance, complete with a short coat of thick, green hair, which makes a striking contrasted against its orange ear-tips.Although there has been some dispute regarding the animal’s length, it is believed to be approximately 7-8 inches from ear to foot.

Ok its been awhile since I've posted a great custom toy. Lately having so much coverage of toy releases, and cool finds..etc. I was happy to find this awesome Mad*L by TMH on Vinyl Pulse, called Oculus Deus. TMH is a London artist and sculptor. You can check out his blog, called Subversive Constructs and read more. In brief, here's what he has to say about the blog:

PhuEk's latest is a big 14" Stikfa design called Omega Fury that is just screaming for me to go find some cool old black and white samurai or martial arts films! As usual, PhuEk's put his Mad skillz into this one and fabricated a few costume/armor parts for this toy. Great work once again Phu! Keep me posted on new stuff dude!
Here's his description of his custom:
"An elitist with an eminent martial art skill, Omega Fury upholds his dignity as being loyal, trustworthy and honest. For his commitment to his emperor, lord and countrymen; Omega Fury will live and die in the name of pride and honor. As he stares fear in the eyes, no battle is too severe for Omega Fury to conquer."
