Was just pointed to this image of Eric's new Bust, The Revenant based on a web comic by Dave Flora. You can check out the web comic here, and be forewarned it is a noir comic, but then you probably guessed that from the pic right?
Release date information is not available at this point. As always its mind-boggling quality sculpting isn't it? Keep your eyes open for more on this.. and something else up Eric's sleeve... nope, not gonna tell ya yet. :P
Check out Eric's Dev Art page.
Okay I've been dying to get this posted so here it is. Recently I interviewed Eric Nocella Diaz for a post at Urban Retro, and I finally got the images together, the questions and answers and Tahir got it posted yesterday. For Urban Vinyl Fans, Eric is probably very well known although his stuff isn't limited to toys alone. You can get more information about his work and about him by reading the interview.. :-)
Here are a few images to whet your appetite.
Ok, I don't know about you, but I'd surely pay for this bust if I had the money anyway because it is just completely mind-blowing! The detail and quality of the workmanship is typical of Eric's work so although I'm not surprised, I'm awe-struck of course. Come on all of you aspiring comic-book artists, graffiti artists or otherwise..
