Just came across this site today. I never heard of until one of the members of Vinyltoyfreaks and actually fellow voxer Francz V Brought it up on one of our posts.. I believe he was asking "whatever happened to...." So Francz, I thought of you when I found this and so if you hadn't already found it too.. go hook up with their blog!

I was honoured to be one of 10 international designers invited to contribute a poster design for the 'design propaganda' show which was part of the Singapore Design Festival.
The show was put together by Yah-Leng Yu from Foreign Policy and these photo's are hers that I've stolen! (You can see all of them here)
Once again, massive shout-out to Yah-Leng for giving me the opportunity to do this!
Here's a few pics, you can see all of them @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/createyu/sets/72157603429094846/

Well the Boombus have sold out and the sculptor is waiting to get some more materials to continue casting the remaining of them + some DIYs for sale. People interested in those, ordering for those is still open. Let me know if you're interested. Again, those are $30, plus shipping.
In the meantime, I've been pondering whether the monochromatic Skullboy design would make a popular tshirt design. I have spoken with a company that is able to do small runs, but I'd have to have a minimum number of orders to go forward with this. I would need at least 12 orders for shirts to do this. This would again be a preorder but I won't start taking payments until the first 12 orders were confirmed by people. This would be on a white or light beige shirt. Selling for about $25 each. Of course keep in mind this will not be heat transfer, direct print or other print style that tend to fade, but would be a high quality Silk-screened print. (please comment also)
(removed poll because it wasn't working correctly)
Here's a version of what it might look like on a darker shirt (gray). Is this better?
Coming to Inner Tee soon. At least I hope so. I've uploaded this version of RM to InnerTee to have it approved for the mixes there.
They use a four spot color process for silk screening so I thought it best to make him monochromatic - partially to draw attention to the blue eyes too. :-) Hope you like this version of RM!
Now I don't know how many of you like paper-crafted art toys, but I think they are the coolest idea. Although fragile, I think its very original when people come up with stuff like this.. Not sure my designs would lend themselves to paper like this, but it would be fun to toy around with the idea. Anyway, you can download these from here. I found this information at Urban Retro Lifestyle, so check that out too!
Even if you don't like the paper Speakerdogs, you just gotta at least take a look at Ben's website because he's a very talented artist! I think you'll like it. Ben The Illustrator.
Originally I found an article on Vinyl Pulse about Mike Burnett's 100% Wood Platform toy. Since typically, platform toys are done in vinyl it was very interesting to see what this was all about. What I found is yet another toy that i would love to have a blank of for customization. I just like its shape, its large rounded, and featureless surface. Very well done, IMO. Check out some pics and then to VP for the original article on the process for making this new toy.
Now for the best part. I found a new article on VP today that had some designs that artists had come up with! You have to head over there to check it out, but here are a few pics..
I posted this little custom awhile ago here, but I thought I'd add that she's been put up on ebay for sale.
Here's the pic again if you don't remember: (Also I forgot to add a link! so here, Item 250057830550 )
Money Grip is a new toy coming soon.. and I just discovered it from one of my favorite vinyl news sites Urban Retro Lifestyle. You can check out an excerpt of the article below the pics. I think this toy is awesome, its going to be one that I definitely will have to have!
I came across this great new design for a vinyl toy a while ago and it instantly appealed to me. I am not sure what appealed to me but it was a mixture of the strong symbolic feel of the closed fist and the cleverly worked design. I got in contact with the designer, kaNo, and asked him to tell me a bit more about the toy, Moneygrip, and what inspired him to create it. This is what kaNo had to say.
